Shuttle announced the XPC P2 3700w, the company’s first small form factor (SFF) workstation PC. The P2 3700w is powered by Intel Xeon E3050 or X3210 quad-core CPU and provides the use of up to 8GB of DDR2 667MHz main memory, when utilized with 64-bit operating system.
Shuttle offers the XPC P2 3700w workstation with Microsoft’s Windows Vista Business 64-bit and Windows XP Professional 64-bit. You can configure this PC with Vista Business 32-bit and XP Professional 32-bit, but this limits the use of system memory to 4GB.
The Intel 975X chipset-based Shuttle XPC P2 3700w provides ATI FireGL or NVIDIA Quadro graphics, up to 2.2 Terabytes of storage and a Gigabit Ethernet connection.
The basic configuration has starting price of $1,649.
There is also a XPC n-P2 3700w model, with no operating system.
