Lenovo has announced the refreshed ThinkCentre M55e desktop PC series, featuring Intel’s 64-bit Pentium D and Core 2 Duo processors.
Based on Intel 946GZ chipset, the Lenovo ThinkCentre M55e supports up to 4 GB of DDR2 SDRAM and Serial ATA hard drives, and incorporates Gigabit Ethernet. It is configurable with DVD/CD-RW combo drive or with a DVD burner.
The Lenovo M55e desktop incorporates integrated graphics. According to Intel, the M55e’s chipset provides Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3000, as same as PCI Express x16 slot for a dedicated graphics card.
The Lenovo ThinkCentre M55e systems will become available during this month or in February with starting price of $899.
