Lenovo today unveiled the new ThinkCentre A60, the first ThinkCentre desktop PC featuring an AMD processor. It’s available in a mini-tower or small desktop form.
For the first time, Lenovo is offering 64-bit AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 dual-core processors, AMD Athlon(tm) 64 and AMD Sempron(tm) processors on the ThinkCentre A-Series family.
The new desktop AMD-powered computers are made for the large enterprises and mid-market customers focused on acquisition costs.
The A60 is equipped with SATA drive support, hard drives up to 2 X 500GB, DDR2 memory support, and nVidia GF 6100 integrated graphics. Additionally, the ThinkCentre A60 supports PCI Express graphics adapters.. The A60 also comes equipped with 6 USB 2.0 ports, front side audio ports and internal speakers.
