Intel will officially release Pentium E 2000 and Celeron D 400 processor lines on June 3, HKEPC reports according to Taiwanese manufacturers.
“Pentium E2160 (1.8GHz/1MB L2/800MHz FSB) and Pentium E2140 (1.6GHz/.1MB L2/800MHz FSB) will be the replacement of Pentium D 935 and Pentium D 925. The prices setting for this two are $84 and $74. Besides, the prices setting for Celeron D 440(2GHz/512KB L2/800MHz FSB) and Celeron D 430 (1.8GHz/512KB L2/800MHz FSB) are $59 and $49 respectively. According to the testing result from the market, either one could provide a better performance than Celeron 360 running at 3.6 GHz, especially for gaming purpose,” the report says.
