HP TouchSmart IQ770 Unveiled

HP TouchSmart IQ770HP TouchSmart IQ770, an AMD Live! platform based desktop PC with an integrated touch-enabled 19-inch diagonal widescreen BrightView LCD, was announced at CES 2007 in Las Vegas this week.

The TouchSmart IQ770 also provides a NTSC TV tuner and over-the-air ATSC high-definition television tuner, built-in speakers, and built-in printer station, which accommodates select HP Photosmart printers.

The newly designed HP’s PC is powered by AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core processor clocked at 1.6GHz and comes with NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 graphics card with 256MB of dedicated video memory (up to 528MB total available graphics memory as allocated by Windows Vista), 2GB of main memory, upgradable to up to 4GB, a 320GB hard drive, and a slot-loading SuperMulti DVD burner with LightScribe technology.

HP TouchSmart IQ770 also features Integrated 1.3-megapixel HP WebCam with built-in array microphone, wireless keyboard and mouse, stylus, and Media Center Remote Control.

It will ship with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium operating system.

HP says TouchSmart IQ770 is coming soon. There is no info on price, but according to the previous reports, this PC, which is also known as “Crossfire”, is expected to cost from $1799 to $1899.
