GIGABYTE today launched the GA-N680SLI-DQ6 motherboard, featuring NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI MCP chipset, supporting Intel Core 2 Extreme Quad Core processors.
GIGABYTE GA-N680SLI-DQ6 features the nForce 680i chipset with support for SLI technology, including two PCI Express x16 connections and support for an additional PCI Express x8 connection, allowing users to add a standalone physics graphics processor. The GA-N680SLI-DQ6 also supports NVIDIA LinkBoost technology, which automatically increases bandwidth up to 25% when select GeForce graphics cards are detected. It also supports high dual channel DDR2 800 memory. In addition, it supports NVIDIA SLI-Ready memory with EPP technology for one-click access to enhanced memory settings for unlocking up to 1200MHz of memory performance. GA-N680SLI-DQ6 also supports 8 channel High Definition audio which delivers the highest levels of sound clarity.
