Foxconn has announced the P35A-S and P35A, its first motherboards based on the Intel P35 “Bearlake” chipsets.
“The new P35A-S and P35A motherboards promise better all-round system performance with support for FSB speeds of up to 1333MHz, built-in future proofing for forthcoming 45nm processors, and support for today’s latest generation processors - Core2 Quad and Core2 Duo,” according to Foxconn.
The P35A-S/P35A, designed for use with Intel Core2 Extreme/Intel Core2 Quad/Intel Core 2 Duo/Intel Pentium D/Intel Pentium 4 processors, support up to 8GB of DDR2 memory. The forthcoming motherboards also support Multi-Graphics and CrossFire with the two PCI Express x16 slots, one in PCIe x1 and three PCI slots.
The P35A-S and P35A will be available from 4th June in worldwide distribution channels.
