EPoX introduced EP-5P965+ GLI socket 775 motherboard, based on Intel P965 Express chipsets and supporting Intel Core 2 dual and quad core processors. EPoX EP-5P965+ GLI has a 1066MHz Front Side Bus and supporting the latest DDR2-800 memory.
Epox EP-5P965+ GLI incorporates two PCI-E x16 slots for dual display functions in GLI mode (Graphics Link Interface). When combined with specific ATI VGA cards, GLI mode transforms into ATI’s Crossfire mode, harnessing the power of multi GPU.
EP-5P965+ GLI features 4 DDR2 DIMM slots for up to 8GB of main memory and supports up to six SATA-II ports. It also has a Gigabit Ethernet.
The new Epox’s motherboard comes populated with real solid state silicon capacitors “for more stable performance and higher overclocking margin”, the company’s press release says.
