Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) will display ATI’s re-named chipset motherboards for AMD Socket AM2 Processors at CeBIT 2007 in Hannover, Germany.
ECS will bring three products for AMD’s latest Socket AM2 based on AMD-ATI chipsets. With Socket AM2 support, these motherboards not only support current 64-bit architecture AMD Athlon 64 FX, Ahtlon 64 X2 Dual-Core, Athlon 64 and Sempron CPUs, they also provide full support for advanced DDR2 memory and dual-channel technology, as well as Windows Vista Premium, the company says.
For extreme user requirements, ECS provides the KA3 MVP motherboard. ECS KA3 MVP supports AMD’s new Socket AM2 as well as dual, full-bandwidth PCI Express X16 slots for graphics cards through its AMD 580X CrossFire chipset. The KA3 MVP also meets AMD’s Live digital media platform requirements.
For home entertainment, ECS will introduce the AMD690GM-M2 motherboard. The new AMD690GM-M2 is the ideal to run the graphics-driven Vista Premium OS. The ATI Radeon Express 1250 graphics controller embedded in the AMD 690G chipset is fueled with the ATI Avivo technology to provide high-definition graphics and videos. The ATI Avivo technology preserves digital fidelity and streams digital graphics and video signals through the digital visual interface (DVI) port present in the AMD690GM-M2.
For the best price mainstream motherboard, ECS provides AM2 and AMD 480X CrossFire Chipset motherboard, the AMD480XM-A. This model also features ATI’s CrossFire technology.
