HP TouchSmart 620 desktop with a 3D display and webcam has been announced. It comes with a 23-inch, 1080p panel display, a pair of active shutter glasses, TV tuner, a Core i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM, a 1.5TB HDD and an AMD Radeon HD 6650 card with 1GB of video memory.That starting price is $1,900, but HP’s going to apply $300 in instant savings when it goes on sale November 15, so for all intents and purposes it starts at $1,600.

Pure PC has released the Pure Luxury high performance gaming desktop, featuring an innovative DARWINmachine chassis, the Intel Core i7 990x Extreme Edition processor, an ASUS Rampage III series motherboard, up to three NVIDIA GTX 580 or dual AMD Radeon 6970 video cards, and up to 24GB of Kingston HyperX T1 memory.
The air-cooled system has four bays for hard drives and solid state drives and is powered by a Kingston 1200W PSU.

The AMD Radeon HD 6990, apparently the most powerful gaming desktop video card in the market today, is now available for purchase in form of the XFX HD699AENF9, Sapphire 100310SR, MSI R6990-4PD4GD5, and HIS H699F4G4M.
The dual-GPU DirectX 11-compatible graphics cards have 3072 stream processors, 4GB of GDDR5 video memory, and a 256-bit memory interface.
The Radeon HD 6990 prices range from $710 to $740 (TigerDirect).
AMD’s high-end FX series “Bulldozer” processors are scheduled for launch in the second half of June 2011, X-Bit Labs reports.
According to the report, the chip maker is going to release this year (in Q2 and later) the eight-core AMD FX8000, six-core AMD FX6000, and quad-core AMD FX4000, all designed for use in desktops.
CyberPower has announced that their Intel “Sandy Bridge”-based desktops are now available with the updated Intel Cougar Point B3 chipset, replacing the older version that has a storage controller flaw.

Sony has announced the Sony VAIO L Series All-in-One PC with the latest generation of Intel Core i7 or i5 processors inside and 24-inch Full HD LED backlight display.
Intel has released the new dual-core Sandy-Bridge processors for desktops and laptops. The lineup includes the Core i3-2100, Core i3-2100T, Core i3-2120, and Core i5-2390T desktop CPUs, and Core i5-2520M, i5-2540M, Core i7-2620M, Core i7-2629M, i7-2649M, Core i5-2537M, Core i7-2617M and i7-2657M for laptops.
Intel is going to release next year the 22nm Ivy Bridge platform, which includes Maho Bay platform for desktops and its Chief River laptop counterpart.

Intel has announced the Core i7-990X six-core Extreme Edition CPU for the ultimate desktop PC enthusiasts. Their 32nm top-of-the line processor is clocked at 3.46GHz (up to 3.73GHz using TurboBoost) and uses the LGA1366 socket platform. It has 12MB of cache.
The Core i7-990x is priced at around $1,000 (Amazon).
