Asustek today announced that the Asus TeleSky telecom adaptor is included in the package of the M2N/TeleSky and P5B/TeleSky desktop PC motherboards. The TeleSky telecom adaptor converts ordinary house phones into multi-functional Skype phones. According to the company’s press release, it is a highly integrated application for traditional PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) and Skype VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) calls.
With one jack connected to the house phone and the other linked to the ground telephone line, the TeleSky can switch the house phone connection between PSTN and VoIP networks. Users can also use the house phone to operate Skype functions, including SkypeIn, SkypeOut, Skype Conference, call waiting, speed-dial, and 3-way telephoning.
If you purchase one of the Telesky Asus motherboards now you will also receive 60 SkypeOut minutes. This offer will only be available for a limited time and quantity. There is no pricing info on M2N/TeleSky, made for AMD AM2 processors, and Intel Core 2-supporting P5B/TeleSky.
