AOpen Unveiled Intel “Santa Rosa”-Based Desktop miniPC

AOpen miniPC Duo MP965-VDR AOpen has released the miniPC Duo MP965-VDR small form factor desktop computer, featuring Intel “Santa Rosa” mobile platform, GM965 chipset, and the new mobile Intel Core 2 Duo processors, all commonly used in the latest notebook PCs.

“AOpen’s miniPC Duo MP965-VDR uses the 965GM chipset and equips one of Intel’s new Core 2 Duo processors and the Viiv technology. And it also has the option for built-in wireless, Bluetooth, analog/digital TV, and Intel Turbo Memory module to fulfill different requirements,” according to manufacturer.

AOpen explains that Intel Turbo Memory is a feature that can access frequently used software applications twice as fast and reduce the time it takes to turn on, or boot-up. It is also said that wireless option in this miniPC includes 802.11n draft standard.
