OMS GX300Digital entertainment PC manufacturer Okoro Media Systems announced the availability of the new OMS GX300 HTPC (Home Theater PC) line for 2007. The GX300 is based on the 64-bit Intel Core 2 Extreme Quad core processor and HDCP ready Nvidia 8800 GTX graphics, combined with 2GB of Kingston HyperX main memory, upgradeable to 4GB.

OMS GX300 uses two 500GB SATA hard drives with 7200rpm speed, providing one Terabyte of storage. It also has two dual-layer DVD burners.

Intel Core 2 ExtremeIntel will launch the first gaming Intel Core 2 Extreme processor for notebooks in Q2/Q3 2007, HKEPC reports.

Intel’s plans says that the first Core 2 Extreme CPU for mobile computers will be the X7800. It is clocked at 2.6GHz, has 4MB of L2 cache and a 800MHz FSB. The 64-bit capable X7800 will feature overclocking capabilities.

Asus M2A-VMThe details of the first AMD 690G chipset based motherboard are just revealed at Asustek’s website. The new Asus M2A-VM mainboard for AMD’s socket AM2 processors has an integrated ATI Radeon X1250 graphics, provided by the long avaited 690G Northbridge.

The Micro-ATX Asus M2A-VM has dual VGA outputs including DVI interface. The RGB output supports up to 2048 x 1536 screen resolution at refresh rate of 85Hz, while the DVI-D out supports up to 2560×1600 at 60Hz. The X1250 graphics incorporated in M2A-VM and AMD 690G chipset provides Microsoft DirectX 9.0 and Shader V2.0. You can use up to 256MB of shared system memory for graphics purposes.
