intelIntel Core 2 Duo E6320 (1.83GHz/1066FSB/4MB) and E6420 (2.13GHz/1066FSB/4MB) processors will be launched on April 22nd 2007 along with E4400 (2GHz/800FSB/2MB). They will be priced at $163, $183 and $133 respectively at launch, VR-Zone reports.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6400 (2.13GHz/1066FSB/2×4MB), Pentium dual-core E2160 (1.8GHz/800FSB/1MB) at $84 and E2140 (1.6GHz/800FSB/1MB) at $74 will be available in June.

Abit Fatal1ty Performance F-I90HD’s integrated graphics is based on ATI Radeon X700. The new motherboard provides 1080p HD video output and 7.1 CH HD Audio CODEC. It has four 240-pin DIMM sockets supporting up to 16GB of Dual channel DDR2 800/667/533 Un-buffered Non-ECC memory, as same as one PCIe X16, two PCIe X1 and one PCI slots. There are four SATA2 3Gb/s connectors and one PATA/IDE.

Shuttle XPC P2 3700wShuttle announced the XPC P2 3700w, the company’s first small form factor (SFF) workstation PC. The P2 3700w is powered by Intel Xeon E3050 or X3210 quad-core CPU and provides the use of up to 8GB of DDR2 667MHz main memory, when utilized with 64-bit operating system.

Shuttle offers the XPC P2 3700w workstation with Microsoft’s Windows Vista Business 64-bit and Windows XP Professional 64-bit. You can configure this PC with Vista Business 32-bit and XP Professional 32-bit, but this limits the use of system memory to 4GB.

ASUS P5NT WSAsustek today released Asus P5NT WS motherboard, based on NVIDIAC55+MCP55PXE chipset which supports LGA775 Socket Intel Core 2 Dual-core/Quad-core processors with 1333/800/533 MHz Front Side Bus. The P5NT WS motherboard also supports two NVIDIA SLI graphic cards with Dual x16 speeds.

The motherboard provides three PCI Express X16, one PCI Express X, two PCIe X1, and one PCI 2.2 slots. It has two Gigabit LAN connections, RealTek ALC888 8-CH HD Audio, one Ultra DMA 133/100/66/33, six SATA2 3.0Gb/s and eSATA connectors. Amd Athlon 64X2AMD has published today the set of price cuts for select Athlon 64 X2 dual core and Athlon 64 single core desktop processors, DigiTimes reports.

The price cuts published on company’s website begin with the AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+, currently the top-end processor in the range, falling in price from US$505 to US$326, while the next highest model, the 5400+ is reduced from US$485 to US$267. The 5200+ and the two versions of the 5000+ (based on 90nm and 65nm processes) each see their prices cut by US$63, from US$295 to US$232 for the 5200+ and from US$285 to US$222 for both 5000+ models. Continuing further down the series prices fall in the range of US$14 to US$33, DigiTimes’ report says.

Intel 80-Core ChipIntel’s researchers have developed the world’s first programmable processor that delivers supercomputer-like performance from a single, 80-core chip. Its technical details will be presented at the annual Integrated Solid State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) this week in San Francisco, the Corporation announced.

The 80-core chip is claimed to be not much larger than the size of a finger nail while consuming only 62 watts - less than many single-core processors today. This is the result of the company’s ‘Tera-scale computing’ research aimed at delivering Teraflop - or trillions of calculations per second - performance for future PCs and servers.

AOpen MP945-VDRAOpen released the MP945-VDR, its newest addition to miniPC Duo Series of small media center computers. The new mini PC with 6.49×1.96×6.49-inch size is based on the Intel 945GM Express chipset, and comes with 64-bit Intel Core 2 Duo processor and Windows Vista operating system.

CRYPTOEXPERT 2007 ProSecureAction released CryptoExpert 2007 PRO encryption software, which works on Windows Vista 64-bit and Windows XP-64 bit.

CryptoExpert creates encrypted virtual disks and these disks are visible as usual disks with drive letters. It uses four powerful encryption algorithms to encrypt your data: AES, BLOWFISH, CAST and 3DES, which are world’s standards of encryption. CryptoExpert 2007 PRO supports 256 Gb and larger encrypted drive.

NVIDIA nForceNVIDIA is set to release the nForce 680i LT SLI gaming PC motherboard chipset, which will be slightly cheaper than the actual nForce 680i SLI, according to DailyTech.

“Unlike the heat-pipe endowed nForce 680i SLI motherboards, nForce 680i LT SLI-based motherboards will have active cooling. Instead of support for DDR2-1200 memory, NVIDIA has limited the memory controller to DDR2-800,” DailyTech’s report says.

CorsairCorsair unveiled 2GB DDR2-667 (PC5300) ValueSelect SODIMM memory modules for notebooks and small form factor (SFF) personal computers. The users of 64-bit laptops and mini-PCs with only two memory slots may benefit since the new modules, when combined with 64-bit operating system, will provide the use of 4GB of main memory on these machines, according to Corsair’s representative.

Kaspersky KIS and KAV 6.0 (Vista Compatibile)Kaspersky Lab announced the release of Maintenance Pack 2 for Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0. An essential new feature introduced in Maintenance Pack 2 is support for Windows Vista, including the 64-bit version of Microsoft’s new operating system.

“Earlier antivirus product versions are not compatible with Vista because of the operating system’s new architecture. With Maintenance Pack 2, Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 will be fully compatible with both the 32-bit and the 64-bit versions of Windows Vista. AMD Athlon 64 X2AMD has added the Athlon 64 X2 3600+ processor to its official CPU price list. Priced at $138 in 1000-unit tray quantities, the new 64-bit dual core CPU has clock speed of 1.9GHz and features 1MB of total dedicated L2 cache.

The “energy efficient” AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ Brisbane chip is produced using the 65nm technology.
